Genuine requests for information clarified by commitment to read, not bin and establishment of what they could be interested in. - Reduces the ‘send some literature’ fob-off and therefore increases readership.
Future Requests:
Not currently interested but have agreed to future contact, usually classified by 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. - useful for companies whose products or services are an infrequent or costly purchase.
